ESPN has ranked the Oklahoma City Thunder as the seventh-best sports franchise in North America.
The rankings took eight different factors into consideration. The affordability for fans, coaching, quality of players, fan relations, ownership, player experience, bang for your buck and championship potential.
The Thunder ranked particularly high in the players (10th) and fan relations (14th) categories. OKC scored the lowest in bang for your buck (114th) and coaching (88th).
Among the 122 professional franchises, only two NBA teams finished ahead of the Thunder. The Spurs were No. 1 and the Grizzlies were No. 4. OKC finished ahead of every MLB team.
