Oklahoma City Police are looking for an alleged carjacker who police say had a pacifier in his mouth during a crime spree Friday night.
Police said a surveillance camera mounted outside the Circle L Convenience Store at NW 90th and Western Ave. captured clear images of the suspect just before the carjacking occurred. A witness told News 9 she saw the suspect approach a car that pulled up at the convenience store.
Police said the suspect pointed a 38-caliber handgun at the victim, who handed over his wallet and car keys.
“We're confident these are clear enough photos someone out there will recognize this man and contact police and we can take him into custody,” Police Spokesperson Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.
Oklahoma Poison Control Director Scott Schaeffer said it's not uncommon for hallucinogenic drug users to keep pacifiers in their mouth, to keep them from grinding their teeth.
