An Oklahoma City man was arrested after authorities said he sent pornographic images to an undercover deputy posing as a 15-year-old girl online.

According to the Canadian County Sheriff's office, 27-year-old David Fletcher cultivated an online relationship with who he thought was a 15-year-old girl.

Authorities said Fletcher began communicating online with an undercover Canadian County deputy posing as a 15-year-old girl in June. While the relationship seemed harmless at first, authorities said Fletcher quickly began to request the “girl” to send nude photos of herself.

According to the Sheriff's office, Fletcher sent two photos of his genitals in an effort to entice the “girl” to do the same.

"That fact that this predator demonstrated patience in cultivating a trusting relationship with the decoy, leads me to believe there are probably real victims out there," said Randall Edwards, Canadian County Sheriff.

According to the Sheriff's office, the undercover decoy advised Fletcher multiple times during the course of the investigation that she was only 15, and even with this information, Fletcher continued to pursue the girl.

Investigators traveled to Oklahoma City on Tuesday and arrested Fletcher at his workplace in Bricktown. Fletcher admitted to investigators that he had pursued a sexual relationship with the decoy over the Internet and electronic communication devices. He also admitted to sending graphic photos of his genitals to the girl in hopes she would send pictures of herself to him.

"It sickens me to think how many of these predators we continue to expose and take out of society. I only find peace in knowing this man won't be able to victimize any more young girls," Edwards said.

Fletcher was booked into the Canadian County jail on charges of soliciting sexual conduct or communication with a minor through the use of technology. If convicted, he faces up to ten years in prison. His bond was set at $50,000, and he remains in jail.
