The United States Geological Survey reported an earthquake near Guthrie, early Sunday morning.
A 3.0 magnitude quake was reported at 5:24 a.m., three miles south of Guthrie and 12 miles north, northeast of Edmond. The depth was over three miles, according to the USGS.

There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
