Police have arrested two suspects in connection to the shooting death of a man in southwest Oklahoma City.
According to police, just before 6:30 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to the report of a shooting in the 800 block of S.W. Grand Blvd. When they arrived, they found the victim in the bed of a pickup truck.
The victim, later identified as 35-year-old Michael Monahan, had apparently been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Investigators located two suspects, 39-year-old Derrick Smith and 34-year-old Tywon Johnson, who were still at the scene when officers arrived.
Police said they conducted several interviews, and both Smith and Johnson were arrested, each on a charge of first-degree murder.
