OKC Organizations Offer Free Thanksgiving Meal To The Needy

Several organizations will serve free Thanksgiving Day meals to those in need in Oklahoma City.

Several organizations will serve free Thanksgiving Day meals to those in need in Oklahoma City.

The Salvation Army is hosting a free Thanksgiving Day Community Meal from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Salvation Army Chesapeake Energy Center of Hope, 1001 N. Pennsylvania.

The City Rescue Mission will host the Annual Thanksgiving Banquet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday at the City Rescue Mission, located at 800 W. California in Oklahoma City.

Community members and a group of local restaurants served a Thanksgiving meal to the guests of the Day Shelter on the Westtown Homeless Resource Campus from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.
