Pedestrian Injured In West Norman Accident

Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to an accident that seriously injured a pedestrian on the 4000 block of W. Indian Hills Road in Norman. 

Witnesses told authorities the vehicle was headed west and hit a person standing in the roadway. The driver of the vehicle was hurt, according to police. 

But the pedestrian was taken to the hospital just after 9 p.m. with serious injuries.

Names of the involved people were not immediately released. 

The accident is under investigation.
