Family Escapes Early Morning House Fire In SW OKC

Fire crews put out a house fire in southwest Oklahoma City, early Wednesday morning.

According to the fire department, at about 3:15 a.m., crews responded to a fire at a home located on Maybrook Drive near S.W. 92nd. Firefighters said when they arrived at the scene, they could see flames coming out of the garage and attic area of the house.

Crews were able to put out the fire quickly. The family escaped the fire. No one was injured.

Fire officials said it appears to be electrical, but they won't know for sure until their investigation is complete.
