While Oklahoma City was busy losing to Houston on the court, Thunder management may have been working on the framework on another trade.
ESPN's Chris Broussard tweeted during the game that a possible three-team trade was in the works between the Thunder, Brooklyn and Charlotte. The basic parameters of the deal would send Lance Stephenson to Brooklyn, Jeremy Lamb and Jarrett Jack to Charlotte and Brook Lopez to OKC.
Clearly, OKC would have to give up more than Jeremy Lamb to get a terrific big man like Lopez. It's likely Kendrick Perkins and his expiring contract would be included in the deal. Another asset might be required as well, such as Perry Jones, but that's simply speculation.
Right now everything is just in the talking stage, but with the Thunder floundering outside of the playoff picture right now, OKC needs to do something to right the ship. Maybe this trade is what the Thunder needs right now.
