An Oklahoma City woman is facing domestic assault charges after attacking her fiance at a home on the northwest side of the metro over the weekend.

Police were called out to the home, located in the 14000 block of Arapaho Rd., near W. Memorial Rd. and N. Western Ave., around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

When officers arrived they saw the suspect, 24-year-old Paige Lewis, with blood on her hands and sweater, but no apparent injuries herself. They then saw her fiance with a broken nose, severely lacerated lips and blood covering his face.

According to police, as they approached Lewis boastfully said, “Yeah, I did that to him with an ashtray.”

The officers then tried to put Lewis under arrest, but she resisted and had to be taken into custody with some force.

After getting Lewis in the back of the patrol car, officers were able to talk to her injured fiance. The man told police that Lewis had hit him in the face multiple times with her fists and the ashtray. He also said that she tried to hit him with a metal pipe, but he was able to take it away from her without being struck.

Although the victim had a broken nose, he refused to be taken to the hospital. Police say he also did not wish to sign a ticket against Lewis for assault and battery.

According to the victim, he and Lewis had been in an intimate relationship for the past five years and had been engaged for two and a half years. He also told police they have a 2-year-old daughter. The child was not at home during the incident.

While en route to the Oklahoma County Jail, police say Lewis spoke loudly about the incident, saying, “Yeah, I hit him in the face six times because he asked me to,” and “I beat his a** because he broke everything in my house.”

The officer also said that Lewis told him she, “Hates cops” and “Wishes she could put them in their place.” He also said she told him, “I'd like to whoop your a**.”

Lewis was booked into the county jail on one count of Domestic Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. Details on a bond were not available.
