An earthquake was recorded near the town of Caldwell, KS., Wednesday night.
The 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 9:33 p.m.
Its epicenter was located four miles north northwest of Caldwell, 33 miles west of Arkansas City, and 112 miles north of Oklahoma City.
There have been no reports of damages or injuries associated with the quake.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes 4.0 and higher.
