Midwest City Elementary is cleared to resume classes Monday, February 2nd.
The school canceled classes last Friday due to a reported “foul” odor.
As a precaution, three staff members decided to seek medical attention.
Firefighters were called to investigate the problem. They inspected all rooms and did not detect a carbon monoxide leak.
Crews continued to test and monitor the school over the entire weekend. School officials say they were cleared and look forward to starting classes Monday morning.
