Authorities identified the suspect shot and killed in Friday night's officer-involved shooting in Oklahoma City.
Officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD) said they developed information that Herbert Hill, a wanted felon, could have been located on the 1000 block of S.W. 62nd Street and went to the address Friday night.

OCPD said officers saw a vehicle parked in the driveway of a house. Hill was identified as the front passenger of that car, authorities said. OCPD tried to take Hill into custody and Hill “refused to comply and produced a firearm which he then used to fire at the officers,” a press release stated.
OCPD Sgt. John Townsend was hit one in the leg and a round grazed him across the back, according to officials. Authorities said officers returned fire striking Hill. Hill was pronounced dead the scene.
Authorities said Hill was wanted for Failure to Register-Violent Offender and Misc. Municipal Warrant.
Police said the female witness managed to get out of the vehicle before the shooting and was unharmed.
The investigation continues, according to police. All involved officers will be places on routine administrative leave while the case is investigated.
