Brittney Martin scored 24 points to lead Oklahoma State to a 52-46 win over West Virginia Wednesday night.
Once just 2-6 in conference play, the Cowgirls have won five of their last six games to move into a tie for third place in the Big 12. OSU has two home games and two road games in their final four conference games.
Oklahoma State wasn't at its best against the Mountaineers, but they were better than West Virginia and that's all that mattered. The Cowgirls held WVU to 35.4 percent shooting for the game and just 13 points in the first half.
OSU shot 41 percent from the field, but Martin and LaShawn Jones (18 points, 11 rebounds) had 18 of the Cowgirls 22 made field goals. Roddricka Patton dished out 14 assists for the Cowgirls, playing all 40 minutes.
Bria Holmes had 12 points to lead West Virginia while Averee Fields had 10 points.
