A small earthquake was recorded near Logan County, Thursday evening.
The 3.1 magnitude quake struck at approximately 9:24 p.m.
Its epicenter was located three miles south of Guthrie, 12 miles north northeast of Edmond, and 25 miles north of Oklahoma City at a depth of about three miles.
No injuries or damages have been reported.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
