For the second time this season, Oklahoma State's Brittney Martin has been named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Player of the Week by a panel of media that covers the conference.
For Martin, the distinction marked her seventh career honor and third as player of the week.
Martin averaged 22.5 points and 9.5 rebounds last week while helping OSU run its winning streak to five games.
The Syracuse, Utah native played 39 minutes and scored a game-high 24 points on a 10-of-19 shooting effort at West Virginia. Martin also grabbed nine rebounds to go with two steals, one block and one assist to lead OSU to itsthird-consecutive road victory.
The junior guard played all 40 minutes against Kansas with 21 points and a game-high 10 rebounds. The double-double was her second in the last three games. Martin dished out three assists and had team highs with three blocks and four steals.
