The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake near Perry Saturday afternoon.
The 3.1 magnitude quake shook the area ten miles south of Perry and 13 miles west of Stillwater at 2:01 p.m., according to the USGS.
The earthquake was more than three miles deep, the USGS reported.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
