It may have taken its time getting here, but another major winter storm is roaring across the Oklahoma City metro, Wednesday evening.

Several wrecks on highways around the city have made for slow going as residents try to make it home from work. But many metro families, students in particular, may have already found themselves indoors bracing for this round of winter weather.

Outside of the metro, snow, sleet and ice had remained steady throughout the day.
