The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake near Perry Tuesday afternoon.
The 3.0 magnitude quake shook the area one mile south of Perry and 17 miles northwest of Stillwater at 3:28 p.m., according to the USGS.
The earthquake was nearly four miles deep.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
