A candle light vigil for Fuller will take place at 5:30 p.m. Friday at NW Classen High School.
News 9 spoke with Norman resident Kenneth Ward, who served with Fuller in Afghanistan in 2011 and 2012. He said Fuller’s family told him that Fuller was out at 3 a.m. Sunday because a friend who was too intoxicated to drive had called Fuller and asked for a ride home.
Ward said Fuller had plans to get married soon, and has an 11-month-old daughter.
No arrests have been made in connection to the fatal shooting.
