Police in Northeast Oklahoma City are investigating an officer-involved shooting Sunday morning.

According to police, around 3 a.m., officers noticed a car driving without its headlights and tried to make a stop. That car matched a description of a vehicle stolen in a carjacking earlier in the night.

Then, two suspects bailed out of the car.

One was taken into custody immediately and the other led officers on a foot pursuit.

An officer opened fire during the pursuit. That suspect was injured but at this time it’s unclear what caused the injury.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.

Names of those involved have not been released at this time.
