The third round of the College Football Playoff Rankings came out on Tuesday night, and both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State moved up in the polls.
Oklahoma State (10-0, 7-0) comes in at No. 6 in the polls after a 35-31 comeback win over Iowa State last Saturday. The Cowboys trailed by as many as 17 in the game, but were able to regroup and pick up the road win.
Oklahoma (9-1, 6-1) jumped five spots to No. 7 in the rankings after a 44-34 win over Baylor in Waco. The Bears were ranked No. 6 at the time of the game, and an OU win of that magnitude puts the Sooners back into the playoff conversation.
With OU hosting No. 18 TCU this weekend and OSU hosting No. 10 Baylor, both state schools will have an opportunity to add another solid win to their resume before they both square off in Stillwater on November 28.
Iowa came in at No. 5 in the rankings while the top four stayed the same with Clemson at No. 1, followed by Alabama, Ohio State and Notre Dame.
