ALL CLEAR: OU's Bizzell Library Briefly Evacuated Over 'Suspicious Package'

The 'All Clear' has been given after a "suspicious package" prompted a brief evacuation of the Bizzell Memorial Library on the campus of the University of Oklahoma, Tuesday afternoon.

Officials with the University of Oklahoma ordered the evacuation of the east side of the library after the package was discovered near the southeast corner of the building. So far police have not identiifed what that package was.

The school’s official Twitter account sent out the following tweet about the incident:

The library is located just east of Elm Ave. and W. Brooks St.

The all clear was given just after 3 p.m.
