Man Critically Injured In Hit-And-Run Crash In NW OKC

Oklahoma City Police are investigating an early morning hit-and-run crash that left one man in the hospital. 

It was around 2 a.m. Wednesday when someone walking by Independence Ave. north of NW Expressway found a man lying in the street and called police.

The man was taken to the hospital and at last check was in critical condition at OU Medical Center, according to authorities.

Police blocked off Independence Ave to gather evidence. Officers said they spoke with a woman possibly involved in the accident. She was released pending further investigation.

Police have not identified anyone involved.
