3.4 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Near Cushing

An earthquake shook up residents near Cushing, Oklahoma Thursday night.

A 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 8:03 p.m. Its epicenter was located just three miles west, northwest of Cushing, 14 miles east, southeast of Stillwater, and 34 miles east, northeast of Guthrie.

It was under a mile deep.

Then, around 8:35 p.m., a 3.2 magnitude earthquake struck. Its epicenter was located 12 miles near Perry, 21 miles east, southeast of Enid, and 27 miles north of Guthrie.

It was about two and a half miles deep.

A third earthquake struck at approximately 10:09 p.m. Its epicenter was located 17 miles north, northwest of Fairview, 40 miles east of Woodward, and 42 miles west of Enid.

It was about two and a half miles deep.

No injuries or damages associated with the earthquakes have been reported.
