OKC Police Officer Recovering After Traffic Accident

An officer suffered minor injuries after a traffic accident overnight.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Friday, in Northwest Oklahoma City near Western and Sheridan. Police said the officer was in his patrol car when he got into an accident with another car.

No word yet on what caused the crash.

The officer was taken to the hospital to receive medical clearance. The other driver was not injured.
