Rural pockets across central Oklahoma are still without power.

Tuttle Emergency Management Director Sean Douglas said while power was restored in Tuttle Tuesday night, at least 2,600 customers in rural areas nearby are still powerless.

Amber fire Chief Mike Norman said it’s the worst power outage he’s dealt with in 19 years as Amber fire Chief.

“In my district of 80 square miles approximately, the issue is getting to the rural areas where those power poles are down," he said.
