Two people have been hospitalized and two others are behind bars after an early morning shooting in Garvin County.
Police said they were called to the area near Wynnewood just before 7:20 a.m. Monday in reference to a report that two people had been shot.
There, they found two gunshot wound victims, Jackson Ty McMahan and Justin Kozarevich, both 19, on the side of the road.
“There was a female victim also that was assaulted and she was able to get away and call 911,” Garvin County Undersheriff Jim Mullett said.
The assault victim, 18-year-old Martina Lane, was not seriously hurt. according to police.
Officers tracked the pickup using GPS, and pulled it over in the Mill Creek area.
“We were able to locate the vehicle in Mill Creek,” Mullett said, “There OHP was able to make a stop and get them detained.”
Roger Arles, 18, and Trevor Noland, 21, both of Sulphur, were arrested.
A bloody hand print remained on the pickup and police said they found ammunition and a gun that they believe was used for the crime.
Investigators said the suspects and the victims knew each other and all were riding inside the pickup together when the shooting occurred.
Police are not yet discussing exactly what led to the shooting but robbery seems to be a motive.
Noland was arrested on complaints of shooting with intent to kill, robbery and being a convicted felon in possession of firearm.
