One Person Removed From Submerged Vehicle In NW OKC

<p>One person managed to get out of a submerged vehicle Tuesday evening in northwest Oklahoma City, fire officials said.</p>

One person managed to get out of a submerged vehicle Tuesday evening in northwest Oklahoma City, fire officials said.

Firefighters were called shortly before 6:15 p.m. Tuesday to the area W Lake Hefner Drive and Canal Road in reference to an injury accident involving a submerged vehicle, Oklahoma City fire District Chief Benny Fulkerson said.

One person is out of the water now and said no one else was in the vehicle.

Firefighters are working to get the vehicle out of the water, Fulkerson said.
