Oklahoma City police said human remains found at a landfill Tuesday morning may be related to a missing person case.
According to police, the remains were found at a landfill in the 2600 block of Midwest Boulevard. Police are investigating this as a suspicious death. The Medical Examiner’s office is expected to release the identity and cause of death.
Police believe the human remains found may be related to a missing person case. On February 2, 2016, officers were made aware of a missing 15-year-old girl. Police learned that the girl was last seen in May, 2014.
On Monday, February 9, investigators received information about the missing girl that led them to the public landfill at 2601 N. Midwest Blvd., where the remains were later found.
