Just minutes ahead of the end of the NBA trade deadline the Oklahoma City Thunder made a move, sending guard D.J. Augustin, forward Steve Novak and two second round draft picks to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for the services of guard Randy Foye.
Have always liked Foye. Don't like losing picks but players expendable. #Thunder @news9

Through 54 games this season Foye is averaging 6.0 points, 1.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists in 19.8 minutes of play per game and shooting 29.6 percent from three-point range. In 10 NBA seasons he has averaged 37.0 percent from deep. He should be able to come in and contribute as a consistent shooter around the bench, and will have star players such as Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook to help free him up for open shots.
For anyone remembering Foye from his prime, #Thunder trade doesn't help in pursuit of impactful 2-way player. @news9

The trade deadline has passed, but there's still the possibility the Thunder could add a player whose been bought out like they've done with Derek Fisher and Caron Butler in the past. Our Dean Blevins points out that Brooklyn's Joe Johnson could be a possibility.
Uneventful trade deadline period ending but outside possibility of picking up Joe Johnson at some point. @news9 #Thunder
