Oklahoma City police arrested a man in connection to a shooting that injured a 5-year-old boy.

It happened Tuesday evening at Heritage Ridge Apartments in the 7500 block of N.W. 10th Street. Police said the suspect, Maurice Bowens, became angry and fired gunshots into a vehicle that was occupied by a woman and her 5-year-old son.

The boy was hit by the gunfire. Police said he is expected to be OK.

An arrest warrant was then issued for Bowens Wednesday. He was soon located and arrested by the Oklahoma City Police Gangs Unit and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on numerous complaints.
