News 9’s Amanda Taylor is in San Diego, where Oklahoma City Public Schools Superintendent Rob Neu will be presenting at an education conference.
Amanda flew in Monday night, strictly to get some answers from Neu about what’s going on with his job.
Last week, board members said Neu is “out of the office.” They reassigned his duties to the associate superintendent. But Neu hasn’t said much at all about what’s going on.
Mark Myers, OKCPS Spokesman, told News 9 they have no documentation that the district has paid for any of Neu's trip to San Diego.
“I can tell you that technically he is still the superintendent since he hasn’t resigned nor has he been terminated by the board," Myers said.
Amanda will have more on News 9 at 5 p.m.
