Juvenile Injured After Shooting In MWC

A Midwest City juvenile, who first told police he was injured during a drive-by shooting, is now changing up his story.

MWC were called out to the re[ported drive-by in the 2200 block of Sandra Dr., near E. Reno Ave. and S. Air Depot Blvd.

The teenage victim, who had suffered a gunshot wound to the arm, told police he was injured after a drive-by shooting. Later though, investigators say the teen told them the wound was self-inflicted. It is unclear if they will face any charges.

Police say the injury is non-life threatening. The age and identity of the victim is not known at this time.
