Silver Alert Issued For Missing Sulphur Woman

Sulphur Police issued a Silver Alert early Tuesday morning for a missing 70-year-old woman.

Police are searching for Melba Sheller, described as a white woman wearing jeans and a long pink shirt. Sheller was last seen at the Callaway Nursing Home in Sulphur on Monday.

Police say that Sheller is a diagnosed schizophrenic and suffers from depression. She is believed to either be headed to Texas or Bryant County, OK where she has family. Sheller left the nursing home on foot.
