One Person Drowns After Flood Claims Car In Lincoln County

One person is dead after flood waters swept their car off the road in Lincoln County overnight.

It happened at 910 Road and 3500 Road. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, there were three occupants in the car during the incident. All three were able to exit the car but were swept into a drainage ditch.

One person was pinned in the flood water and drowned. The other two were taken to the hospital and are expected to be treated and released.

The OHP has not released the victim's identity.
