A body believed to be that of a woman who was swept away by floodwaters Sunday night has been found, Pottawatomie County authorities said.
Pottawatomie County Sheriff Mike Booth said the body was located about a mile downstream from where her vehicle got washed away.
The 49-year-old woman was washed away when her vehicle tried to drive through three feet of flowing water on Fishmarket Road, a half-mile north of Highway 9.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers identified the woman as Dorinda Cullum.
The medical examiner's office will positively identify the body.
