Tulsa Dentist Arrested In OKC Child's Death To Ask For Bond

A Tulsa dentist arrested in connection to the death of an Oklahoma City child will ask for a bond.

Bert Franklin has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 19-month-old Lincoln Lewis. Oklahoma City attorney Scott Adams, who is representing Franklin, confirms to News 9 that he will file paperwork on Monday to ask for a bond.

Franklin is currently being held at the Oklahoma County Jail without bond. 

Court documents filed in Oklahoma County Court state Franklin willfully or maliciously injured, tortured, maimed or used unreasonable force on little Lincoln Lewis by inflicting unreasonable force to the baby's head and that caused skull fractures and injuries to the baby's brain that ultimately lead to his death on July 18.
