Great programs and location are important factors for teens choosing which university to go to but that's not all.
The Princeton Review set out to find the college with the nation's happiest students and out of hundreds of schools the University of Oklahoma ranked in the top 20.
OU actually came in at 15th.
This really wasn't a complicated survey.
Students across the country were simply asked, “Overall, how happy are you?”
Houston's Rice University came in first with the happiest students.
The articles write that Rice gives its students a balance of tough school work, a beautiful campus, and opportunities for an active social life.
Vanderbilt and the University of Dayton came in second and third place.
Besides OU, the only other Big 12 school to make the top 20 is Kansas State.
