Crews Called After Grass Fire Flares Up Near Deer Creek

Multiple fire crews are working to get a handle on a grass fire in Deer Creek, Thursday evening.

Firefighters from Deer Creek, Oklahoma City, Piedmont and Oakcliff have all responded to the scene near NW 206th St., in between N. Meridian Ave. and Portland Ave.

The fire started after a hay baler caught fire. No structures are being threatened.
