Roasted Garlic Broccoli
- 3 heads of broccoli
- 5-8 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped pine nuts or pistachio nuts
- Lemon juice
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove the wide stalk of the broccoli and cut the individual florets from the base.
- Place the broccoli on the baking sheet and drizzle with 5 tablespoon olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Add the chopped garlic.
- Use a spatula to mix the broccoli and garlic in the olive oil to thoroughly coat.
- Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and quickly place the roasted broccoli in a serving bowl.
- Drizzle with the extra oil, juice of 1/2 fresh lemon.
- Add in the nuts and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- Stir together.
- Serve.
