A Stillwater toddler is in critical condition at a metro hospital after being accidentally runover on Thanksgiving.
Police tell News 9 the 3-year-old girl was sitting in the driveway of a home, located in the 2400 block of W. 26th Ave., when she was hit by a car driven by her grandmother.
The grandmother was backing out of the driveway and apparently did not see the child.
Authorities say the girl suffered serious injuries to her head and chest, and had to be flown by medical helicopter to OU Children’s Hospital in OKC. As of 2 p.m. Friday the girl was still listed in critical condition.
No other information has been released at this time.
