One Dead Following Auto-Pedestrian Crash In NW OKC

The Oklahoma City Police Department says one person is dead following an auto-pedestrian crash on the northwest side.

According to police, the crash occurred in the eastbound lane of NW 10^th between Morgan and Sara. Officers tell News 9 that a pedestrian was in the middle of the roadway in a "football stance" when he was struck and killed by a car.

OKCPD says the driver stopped, and is cooperated with officers.

No charges are expected to be filed at this time.

The victim’s name has not been released.
