9 Things To Do This Weekend Around The Metro (Dec. 1 – Dec. 3)

It’s beginning to a look a lot like Christmas around Oklahoma, but it certainly isn’t *feeling* anything like it. And that could be a good thing if you plan on getting outdoors this weekend.

Since its revival, Uptown 23^rd’s Tower Theatre has had an outstanding run of continues its run of incredible performances. And this weekend continues that dominant run, with comedian Maria Bamford set to perform this Sunday night.

Bamford is a prolific actress and comedian, who stars most recently in the Netflix series “Lady Dynamite”. She’s was also listed among the must-see shows in 2016 from Variety and Rolling Stone magazine.

The Oklahoma City Thunder start the first of a 3-game home stand against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Friday night.

On Friday nights in December, Downtown OKC will host “Rock N’ Skate” nights at the Devon Ice rink, featuring a live DJ. Also at the ice rink, the Oklahoma Curling Club is holding another “Learn To Curl” session Saturday morning.

And if you haven’t had a chance to go snow tubing at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark Winterfest, you still have plenty of time throughout the rest of December.
