9 Days Of Christmas: Hope Chest OKC

There are Oklahoma children sleeping on the floor with no bed to call their own.

Hope Chest in Oklahoma City is working to change that.

During our 9 Days of Christmas, News 9's Lacie Lowry and Robin Marsh teamed up with Hope Chest to surprise a metro mother.

"At Hope Chest OKC, we provide beds and bedding for families in need, down on their luck or they're coming out of domestic violence or situational homelessness," said Dena Nason, executive director of Hope Chest OKC.

Hope Chest works off referrals from other agencies. They are always looking for volunteers and donations.
