An Altus Airman said he got the surprise of his life at Halftime of Monday night’s Thunder game.

Senior Airman Dustin Badon and his young family was there—they thought—because Justin was going to be recognized as a “Hometown Hero.”

Instead, Justin’s parents and his grandfather were at the game to surprise him, all the way from the small town of Johnson Bayou, Louisiana. They’re all flying back to Louisiana for the Christmas holidays.

Dustin says he’s especially honored to see his grandfather.

“If I can be half the man he is, then I definitely will be successful in life,” he beamed Monday night. Badon is the recipient of “The Jack Daniels and Armed Services YMCA Operation Ride Home” program.
