Reports Of Major Verizon Outage In OKC Metro

A Verizon Wireless outage was reported Thursday morning in the Oklahoma City metro.

Several customers reported issues with cellular and internet services. This is the second time in recent months that a major outage was reported in the network.

A short time later, a Verizon spokeswoman said the outage had been resolved.

Verizon issued the following statement on Thursday during the outage.

"We are aware of a service interruption affecting Oklahoma City. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue quickly."
