Suspect Arrested After Leading Pursuit In NW OKC

One person was arrested after leading police on a late night chase in northwest Oklahoma City. 

Police said a slow pursuit initiated with a call for a kidnapping attempt near northwest 10th Street and May Avenue around 11:30 Monday evening. Officers spotted the suspect's car and tried to pull the car over, but the driver took off.

The driver eventually surrendered near 63rd Street and Wilshire Boulevard. 

Police said they don't believe anyone was actually taken.
