Suspect Arrested After Shooting Man In Kingfisher County

A suspect is in custody following a shooting in Kingfisher, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office says the shooting occurred shortly after 6 p.m. Friday, October 5. A male victim was found suffering from two gunshot wounds, and then medi-flighted to an OKC hospital.

Deputies were able to locate the suspect around 8 p.m. and took him into custody.

The sheriff’s office says the investigation is ongoing to determine the motive behind the shooting.

The names of the suspect and victim have not been released at this time.
