OKC Officer Injured After Driver Crashes Into Patrol Vehicle

An Oklahoma City police officer is recovering after being rear-ended overnight. 

Police said the officer responded to an early wreck between Southwest 149th Street and Southwest 134th Street when another driver crashed into the back of his patrol car.

Both, the officer and the driver, were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Officers said the driver was intoxicated.

The officer was later released from the hospital.
